idg and NHS North East is progressing its commitment to investing in staff development through a new collaboration.
Following on from NHS North East becoming the first strategic health authority in England to achieve Investors in People Gold status and the new national Health and Wellbeing Good Practice Award, the partnership will ensure that ‘valuing staff’ remains at the forefront of the SHA agenda, particularly at a time of major organistional change as the three SHA’s in the north of England joined together to form NHS North of England from October 2011.
In partnership, idg and the SHA will aim to further support the development of workplace wellbeing in the region and raise awareness of the benefits a health and wellbeing approach can bring to other north east organisations.
