Private banking organisation ABN AMRO (Guernsey) Limited has been awarded with the prestigious title of Investors in People Champion, acknowledging their commitment to improving performance through people.
With 120 employees, they now join other organisations based in Guernsey, Jersey, Isle of Man and across the North of England in promoting and supporting Investors in People through best practice activities.
To become an Investors in People Champion all applicants must hold Investors in People Gold recognition, an accolade the organisation achieved in July 2011. The Champions scheme recognises and rewards organisations who have been outstanding in promoting the values and principles of Investors in People, leading by example in the way they manage and develop their people.
By achieving Champion status, ABN AMRO (Guernsey) Limited is committed to sharing and also learning from their experiences, encouraging the dissemination of good practice in people management and supporting continuous improvement.
Celebrating their achievement, Head of HR Caroline Wickham said:

The Bank has changed its name a number of times from MeesPierson, Fortis, back to MeesPierson and more recently to ABN AMRO. It is a Dutch-based bank and is currently owned by the Dutch Government.
