Health & Wellbeing Good Practice Award: Getting Started

Advice:

To start your journey, contact us to find out more about the Health & Wellbeing Award and arrange your free initial consultation with an adviser. Your organisation does not have to be recognised with Investors in People before working with the Award.
At this meeting you can discuss your interest in the Award in more detail and the options in moving forward towards assessment and recognition, such as a diagnostic exercise or advisory support.

From there you can develop and work against your Health & Wellbeing Award action plan, outlining how you will progress with the framework including any activities you will undertake to prepare for assessment e.g. advisory services and workshops.

Assessment:

When you are ready to be assessed, contact us to start planning your assessor’s visit.
During the assessment, your assessor will visit you onsite, interviewing a sample of people to assess against the evidence requirements of the Award.

When all of the interviews are complete, the assessor will give verbal feedback on their findings and whether they recommend recognition.

Recognition:

Following your assessor’s recommendation for recognition, idg as your Investors in People Centre will confirm your recognition with the Health & Wellbeing Award. You will now be able to use and display the Award logo and publicise your achievement with your team and other stakeholders.

Continuous Improvement:

Any further reviews or activity required, depending on your needs following the assessment will be arranged with your assessor or with idg as your Investors in People Centre.
As an organisation recognised with the Award, you will need to have a review at least every three years.
